Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala Wants His Son, Longwe Twala’s Bail Application Denied
The former child star, Longwe Twala, was arrested by his father, Chicco Twala, for allegedly stealing equipment from his father’s studio.
Longwe is expected back in court this Thursday, but his father insists he does not want him released on bail, fearing he will disappear again.
Twala revealed to journalists during his son’s court appearance last week that Longwe, who began using drugs at age 17, has been stealing from him for the past 20 years.
“I certainly don’t want my son to get bail. He will disappear and not be found for his next court appearance. The fact that the defense in the Senzo Meyiwa case would be calling him to testify makes it even more worrying because I know for a fact that he will disappear and miss both his court appearances the day he is supposed to testify,” Chicco told ZiMoja.
