Mia Le Roux crowned as Miss South Africa 2024

Mia le Roux has been crowned Miss South Africa 2024 during the grand finale held in Pretoria on Saturday, August 10.

The event, hosted by Bonang Matheba, featured her in five stunning outfits, making bold fashion statements throughout the evening.

The pageant took place at the SunBet Arena, Times Square, Pretoria, where the previous winner, Natasha Joubert, passed the crown to the new titleholder.

Mia, a 28-year-old marketing manager, model, and part-time BCom marketing student from Oudtshoorn, has a remarkable story. Diagnosed with profound hearing loss at just one year old, her community came together to provide her with the gift of hearing. This experience fueled her passion for making a positive impact and breaking barriers.

The runners-up were Nompumelelo Maduna and Onalenna Constantin.

South Africans took to social media in droves to congratulate Mia on her achievement.
