Minnie Dlamini caused a stir with a tribute post to veteran actress Connie Chiume who passed away on Tuesday in a Johannesburg hospital.

Taking to social media, people expressed their shock at the news of the legend’s death.

Minnie also paid her tribute to the 72-year-old on social media.

The TV personality shared a photo which she took with Connie and captioned it with a conversation they had.

“Ulale ngokuthula Ma wami, you told me to never stop fighting for this business and that when our kids decide to venture into our business it’s better than when we did it!!! We will keep fighting in your name,” reads the caption.

A few social media users were triggered by the post as they believe she made the post about herself.
