Zanele Mbokazi opens up on surviving while battling lung cancer

Zanele Mbokazi says she feels overwhelmed and exhausted since she got diagnosed with cancer

Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule speaks about her journey over the past months since she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

It is undoubtedly a challenging era for the the Ukhozi presenter who is from Durban.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Zanele said there are days she feels exhausted, overwhelmed and irritated.

“There are days when you don’t even want to take your medication. Days when messages from loved ones asking, ‘How are you today? You will be alright,’ just irritate you,” she shared.

“Days filled with endless questions. Days when you feel no one truly understands what you are enduring,” the businesswoman explained.

The 53-year-old further encouraged people who might be going through trying times.

Zanele Mbokazi is also known as the founder of the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards; people and family have been praying for her since her diagnosis in May 2024.
